The Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is a true icon among sports car enthusiasts. Known for its impressive performance and aerodynamic design, the ZR1 represents the pinnacle of Chevrolet’s engineering in the realm of sports cars.
We recently received a roadside assistance request from the driver of one of these sports cars. He had run out of fuel in Plant City and requested a tow to the nearest gas station. He chose us for our 30-minute ETA, so we had to get there as quickly as possible.
We noted that Corvettes have a low profile, close to the ground. This can pose challenges when towing, as it’s crucial to avoid scraping the underside of the vehicle during transport. In such cases, the best option is using a flatbed. So, we dispatched Ray, one of our experienced flatbed drivers, specialized in towing sports cars.
We arrived at the location in 25 minutes. The customer seemed a bit anxious, but we assured him that the wait would be worth it. We loaded the Corvette carefully and secured it well to withstand all the movements of transportation without suffering the slightest damage to the paint.
The driver had already mentioned that he had changed his mind. He wouldn’t go to the gas station to refuel but wanted to be taken home instead. The driver adjusted the initially given quote, and a handshake sealed the deal.
Upon completing the service, the customer expressed that the company had gained another repeat customer.
